Prior to becoming a Health and Safety Consultant I had over 30years of extensive industrial experience of working in very modern international manufacturing organizations with multi-site operational responsibilities. I also spent 5 years in the NHS sector.
In my position as Engineering Manager UK I was also part of the senior management team and responsible for facilities management, which included plant design, equipment procurement, budgetary control, planning and all major building and engineering infrastructure projects. These included construction of multi-million pound factories, offices and warehouses throughout the UK and Ireland. Inderjitis an experienced Environmental Health Officer with over 22 years local government experience in the field at an operational and managerial level, along with a further 5 years managerial experience within the food and health & safety industry. Inderjit has held positions in a number of local authorities delivering the full spectrum of environmental health services from Food Safety, Health and Safety and Environmental Protection. Inderjit has a 17 years experience in the Hospitality & Catering, Leisure & Amenity and Food Manufacturing industries. He has worked with various corporate companies as a senior manager, food safety and health & safety consultant and trainer in the UK, Germany, Austria and Saudi Arabia.
Inderjit has been influential in the UK food industry for many years as a trainer, consultant, and advisor to local government agencies, hotel and catering industry, and food businesses. This includes project managing and implementing the National Competency Criteria for Food Safety and Health & Safety Auditors/Inspectors, for the UK Food Standards Agency and Health & Safety Executive.
