Global Environmental Health Services (Global EHS)Training Course Terms and Conditions of Booking
A course booking shall be made on an official booking form provided by Global EHS for that purpose and shall be confirmed by Global EHS upon receipt. The booking form constitutes a binding contract between the parties. Global EHS reserves the right not to confirm bookings where an official booking form has not been submitted.
2. Authorisation of Expenditure
In making a booking, a delegate (or other person acting on their behalf) is deemed to have obtained the necessary authority for payment of the course fee from their employer, organisation or manager.
3. Payment and Payment Period
3.1 Course fees by Local Authorities are payable within 28 days of date of invoice. Invoices shall be sent to a delegate immediately after their attendance on the course. In some cases such as Private companies or individuals, payments must be paid in advance before the training course starts.
3.2 In the event that payment is not made within the 28 day period, Global EHS reserves the right to add interest at a rate of 5% of the invoice sum.
4.1 Cancellations and changes to bookings by delegates
4.1 Within 28 days of the course date
If a delegate wishes to cancel a course booking within 28 days of the course date, the course fee shall become payable in full. Where payment of the course fee has been made in advance no refund shall be payable. However in either case a substitute delegate may attend the course at no additional charge.
4.2 Up to and including 29 days in advance of the course date
If a delegate wishes to cancel a booking up to and including 29 days of the course date, 50% of the course fee shall be payable. In the event that payment has been made in advance, this will be refunded less 50% of the course fee.
5. Cancellations and postponements of courses by Global EHS
Global EHS reserves the right to vary, cancel or postpone a course in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or where it sees fit. Global EHS shall make its best efforts to inform delegates as soon as possible in this event. Delegates shall be offered a place on the course if it is to be rescheduled, or a place on an alternative course. If neither option is acceptable and payment has been received in advance then the course fee will be refunded in full.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Delegates shall not make copies/scan of any of the course materials except with the prior permission of Global EHS.
Global EHS shall not be liable for claims (save for death or personal injury where these are caused by the negligence of Global EHS or its employees/associates/contractors) for any loss or damage to property, or any economic, indirect or consequential losses to delegates how so ever arising, except where this clause 7 is rendered void under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
